Life is full of moments, many of them forgettable. However there are times when significant events happen that flood us with emotion and leave us reflective
Too often in life our most memorable moments involve some sort of crisis that leaves us shaken, emotionally exhausted and dwarf the positive by many magnitudes. However on occasion positive moments can become a fulcrum, a pivot point for your thinking. I was recently privileged to have had one such event.
While at a conference for Christian Teachers, with speakers Josh and Sean McDowell, I was privileged hold a copy of the Torah.
The Torah, or Pentateuch, comprises the first five books of the Bible. Also known as a the Word of Moses, it has been faithfully reproduced through the generations since first scribed.
Such was the faithfulness of this transcription that should a scribe make a mistake in writing the name of God, even letting the letters of His name become smudged as it was written, the entire scroll would be destroyed and the process of transcription would start all over again.
