Getting to the Point…

I had an awesome time with Liam, a long time friend and member of the Whangarei Medieval Combat Club. Liam needed two spears heads for his Lord of the Rings Gondor Fountain Guard cosplay.

Thanks to one of my long term sponsors I was able to use my Creality Halot Resin Printer to first generate a miniature of the pyke to test the STL file. It worked perfectly so I decided to try a sliced full size version.

Once finished I was able to join all the pieces together using liquid resin and a UV torch, then spray on a bit of primer, and finally a coat or two of metallic silver paint.

This was my first attempt at something so big and the result was amazing!
