Laser Cutting

Just been working on upgrading my EleksLaser A3 Pro laser cutter.

The ‘cutting plate’ of the laser was a bit smaller than my needs so I decided to upgrade it to twice the origional size.

I ordered the parts from an awesome website called MechMakers. I was very impressed with their service an would recommend them to anyone wanting to work with the 2020 and 2040 T-Slot system that the EleksLaser uses.

I did however hit a snag and cracked one of the perspex sides when trying to square the chassis. I heard the crack long before I found it.

I’m not so sure sure if it will hold but we’ll see…
